i like zildian, but, i dont really like the black cymbals, yeah they look cool, but they lost all kinds of clearity that regular cymbals have, plus the black chips off so it is kind of a waste in the first place

from what i have heared they are imensly good however not great for practicing with. soud great in gigs though

I have to go to the music store tommorrow to see these things. I really hope that they have them in. I have not had a set in a few years but they would look awesome. Question is will they sound awesome? I will let you know.

they are zildjian zbt’s but coated black. the only difference is they are double the price of zbt’s. so they are higher priced bottom level rock cymbals

Paiste have a range of black cymbals.

Also Joey Jordison has a line of “signature” black cymbals.
his own are made by Zildjian, the “cheap” ones are made by paiste in their A series cymbals (AVOID THE A SERIES!)

Zildjan’s not the first cymbal company to release black cymbal’s. I don’t think that people will jump on the bandwagon. Like most drummers, I’ll wait and see how they sound before I decide if I like them or not.
